Invisalign Q & A

How does Invisalign work?

Your Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made for you with a specific treatment plan mapped out by your doctor at Dental Masters. Because the aligners are virtually invisible and fit snugly over your teeth, your friends and family won’t notice you’re wearing them.

As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth gently and gradually shift into place. You also change your set of aligners every week.

Your aligners move your teeth horizontally, vertically, and even rotate them with the right amount of force in the right place at the right time. Dental Masters schedule check-ups every six weeks or so to monitor your progress.

The length of your treatment plan varies per person. For the best results, Dental Masters recommends wearing your aligners for at least 20-22 hours per day, taking them out to eat and brush your teeth.
